With the new arrival of Ephraim 2 months ago I haven't had much time to devote to photography. At a birthday party the other day my friend asked me to take some photos. As soon as I got the camera in my hands a rush of excitement welled up within me.
I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY!
i love capturing the small moments. Looking through the lens of a camera brings a whole new perspective on life. It causes you to really focus on the object and or person you are photographing. You have to take in the whole of the subject.
The reality that EVERYONE is beautiful is captured so delicately while taking a photo. It gets you thinking....
How often do i judge someone because of their looks?
But for some reason if you were to take their photograph you are focusing on capturing that persons true identity and their baggage, their wrongs, their rights, their scars, their lack of hair, their choice of clothing, their shape, their outlook on life... none of that matters anymore because it is ALL who they are and an important part of who they are becoming.
If only we could always look through the lens of a camera.
If only we could look at people through the lens of their Creator's eyes.
